The Untied Knot

Got nothing to do.. so what i did is to check cosmopolitan website... an interesting article got my attention...

Here it is...

"I’m turning 27 soon. Friends and colleagues have started marrying up over the past few years, and people have started to ask when I plan to tie the knot. You see, “plan” is the operative word in all this. My plan was to get married by the time I hit 28 years old.
Girls Will Be Girls
I grew up doing the same things most girls do—attend soireés in high school, indulge in the occasional flirtation with a cute crush, and celebrate a coming-out party on my 18th birthday. Eventually, I dated, fell in love, and got my heart brohappy ken. Throughout all these, I also dreamt of the same things most girls wanted: to find the love of my life, get married, and start a family of my own.
I do feel a tinge of envy when I see dear friends walk down their dream aisles, in their dream dresses, towards their dream guys. The inggit, however, lasts for merely a few seconds. During the next moment, I think: “Oh my! They’re seriously getting married now? Why so soon?”

Plan B

Don’t get me wrong—I’m extremely brohappy for my friends who’ve decided to tie the knot when they did. But during each wedding ceremony, I quietly wished that the couple did the math and carefully considered the costs of the wedding, the house, the life together, and the kids. Foremost, I fervently wished that before they promised forever, my dear friends had learned to be initially happy by themselves, before attempting to be happy with someone else.
Now, my personal plan is no longer bound by age pegs or “marry” musts. Instead, it involves having enough time to build a career, rake up a good amount of savings, and, more importantly, do all the things I like doing by myself—all before I settle down with someone else.

The Power of One

With my new plan in action, I now get to make decisions for myself by myself. I get to buy solo tickets to concerts, go out with friends without paalam, invest on gadgets without thinking of saving up for anniv gifts, go on impromptu backpacking trips locally and abroad, and spend time with people I wouldn’t have spent that much time with had I been with someone.
Today, I feel that there is no room for self-pity about my single status. In fact, it lets me be flexible and allows me to appreciate things differently. With this independent kind of financial and emotional perspective, I get to immerse myself in whatever mystery or adventure I wish to experience—carte blanche.
While waiting for Mr. Right to come along, I will keep sending my best wishes to coupled-up friends as I enjoy my sensationally sizzling, single life. Although I don’t know when it’ll happen, I know that one day, someone will sweep me off my feet and whisk me away with a promise of a happy-every-after. I also know that by that time, I’ll be able to confidently say, “Yes, I am ready to get married now. Take me!”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GELAI!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRL!!! MWAHH!!!

lovin' this song...

Falling
by: Keahiwai
wanna tell you baby
That you're the one that Im thinking of
But your heart is still with her
And I think she's the one that you love
I only want you happy
Even if it's not with me
Maybe one day
You'll open up your eyes and you'll see
[Chorus]
That I think I'm falling
Maybe I'm falling for you
Yeah I think I'm falling
Baby i'm falling for you
[Verse 2]
From the first time
You laid your lips on mine
It feels like the smile on my face
Will last till the end of time
But Im not so sure
If you're the one that I should pursue
My mind tells me no
But my heart only says that it's you
[Chorus]
Bridge:
Only time will tell
The mystery has yet to unfold
Who's gonna feel love's warmth
And the other left in the cold
Yet still I'm falling
Maybe I'm falling for you
Yeah I think I'm falling
Baby I'm falling for you
That I think I'm falling
Maybe I'm falling for you
Yeah I think Im falling
[Chorus]
Baby I'm falling for you

Gone...

- no goodbyes, just see u around!

*** sabi ko naman: I'll see you soon!!!Ü

Sigayan Beach

We had our team building last July 12, 2008 with Team Coyote at Sigayan Beach in La-Iya, Batangas... We leave the office around 9:00am then we arrive at the resort around 1:30 pm (i'm not sure bout it ksi antok antok pa ako when we arrive at the resort...)

OK naman ung resort, it has 7 queen size beds (which is sakto lang sa amin...), free 5 galons of water (with hot & cold dispenser), and gas stove... (don't ask me bout the beach cuz i never been there... well, accdg sa kanila maganda naman daw...)

After namin ibaba ung gamit, we head straight sa room, konting ayos ng gamit, then i saw katrina preparing our lunch... and since i'm so pagod and sobrang init i decide to take a bath first...

Then konting kwentuhan, after that we decide to sleep muna (kakapagod eh)...

unforunately i missed these ksi nakatulog ako (imagine i woke up 12midnight na!)

so bumawi na lang ako sa inuman... (eto ung masasabi ko na pinaka-enjoy para sa akin...) Y? kasi nakita ko c allen uminom!!! hahaha (bago un para sa akin!)

around 4am natapos ung inuman namin and since na hindi pa ako inaatok i decide na mag-shower ulit then start na magprepare ng breakfast (nagulat ako kasi c anne and jr gising na rin pala!)... after ko mag-shower kat woke up na rin... so kat and i decide na mag-prepare na ng breakfast (si JR nakaka-touch kasi sinamahan nya kami while we are cooking...) xempre "chika-chikaness" hehehe

imagine we start preparing our breakfast ng 5 am tapos 7 am na hindi pa rin kami tapos... (tingnan mo nga naman...) mga 7:30 am the others woke up na... then they told us na mag-snorkling daw... (unfortunately hindi ako nakasama kasi we need to prepare our lunch pa...) i'm happy na rin kasi na-enjoy ng team ung outing namin...

These are the pics that i got from them...

around 2pm of July 13, 2008 umuwi na rin kami... daan kami colette's to buy pasalubong...
sarap matulog pag-uwi... hay! Ü

Comment: love it..

Red Box Day part 2! (Gui & Jeri's Bday)

For the second time around, we went to Red Box in Trinoma... why? because its Gui and Jerry's B-day! (YIPEE!!!)

Sabi nga nila mas marami, mas masaya. nakakatuwa kasi nakasama sila Coach Ron, Jayvee, Rovin, and Gers.

We arrive there exactly 12nn at Tri so we go straight ahead sa Red Box. (nakakatuwa nga kasi yung frontliner natandaan kami) we occupied Room 80 (sa bungad lang) infairness, mas malaki and mas malamig yung room... very very good!

Xempre pagpasok namin sa room, kantahan time na... It's Jayvee who sang first ( forgot the song na nikanta nya!)

Xempre hindi papahuli si Coach Anne... ahihi

Minutes later the food arrives and dahil lahat kami gutom na, galit galit na muna... hahaha sarap ng food nila grabe! (accdg to JR & Gui, masarap daw ung fish...)

si mak oh, serious...

c coach ron multi-tasking, singing while eating... hehehe

GRABE ANG SAYA!!!
... After we eat, xempre tuloy ang kantahan...

around 3, its's time to say bye bye na... we are planning to watch movie (HANCOCK) but since Mak, Jerry, and Kat has a shift today they decide to go home early... so its Me, Gui, Anne, Coach Ron, and JR who watched the movie...

We part ways around 6:30 PM, hindi rin ako nakauwi agad coz i saw my kuya so we stayed pa sa Tri. (hehehe...)

To summarize the gimmik that we had today, one word: SUPERB!

... grabe ang saya! (ulitin daw ba?!)

Thanks to Jeri & Gui for the treat! HAPPY BDAY!!! luv you both!!!
